John 20 equipping for mission

At the end of July into August I preached a four-part series from John 20. This was the outcome of some of my studies at Cornhill and timed perfectly to let [my colleague] concentrate on running a summer camp.

It was really good for us all to delight in the resurrection life we have in Jesus, the privileges we have in knowing him and the Father, and the confidence we can have in being equipped for mission by the Holy Spirit and the apostles witness to Jesus. It all felt like just what we needed to hear as we now look to reach out more widely.

One of the ways we are aiming to do that is Rachel and Ann are setting up an Anchor Church tots group, hopefully starting in September. Please pray this will go ahead, that it makes great connections with the community and that we can be intentional in pointing people to Christ.
