Easter freedom in Glasgow

We were very thankful to be able to resume in-person services at the end of March, just in time for Easter. It makes such a difference being able to be with people during and after services and it’s been a great opportunity to meet a lot of visitors and people who are new to St Silas.

I’ve also enjoyed getting to visit and spend time with some older members of the congregation. I was invited for ‘countryside and puppy therapy’ by a lady from church in April and also joined one of the leaders for a pastoral visit to a couple in their 80s. It’s been wonderful getting to know these older Christians, to be encouraged by them and hear their wisdom.
