Walking in the cold

For my part, I have enjoyed getting to know the team at St Nicholas Cole Abbey's church and managed to meet one woman through the lunchtime talks who I will hopefully be starting to read the Bible with one-to-one before we had to go back to meeting online.

These are not easy times to be encouraging Christians in the workplace to view their offices as their mission field with most people having to continue working from home. I am thankful that the Word of God can still go out through online Bible studies and livestreamed services. Yet I are very much aware and concerned, as are Christian workers all around, at how costly the pandemic regulations have been on Christian fellowship, discipleship and evangelism.

Please pray that I would be patient with getting to know my two church families, with adapting to my role as Ralf's helper, and that I would not wait for things to get back to "normal" to seek to invest in relationships, even if this is limited to walking in the cold with another woman.
