Summer term residential
I went on Crosslands residential week to finish the year of study.
It was a great week of getting to encourage and be encouraged by the Crosslands faculty and students from other tutor groups. We did a culture project in groups throughout the week. My group was looking at fashion trainers and unpacking the reason people buy trainers and the gospel links to those underlying reasons.
We were staying in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside which made it a very peaceful time away. The new academic year kicks off with a residential as well, so I’ll be heading back to the Peak District in a couple of weeks. This year, we’ll be studying modules on Bible Exposition, Biblical Theology, Church History, and a Women’s Ministry module.
I’m very excited to get stuck back into studying with Crosslands and applying all that I am learning to my ministry at Woodgreen.
