Arriving in the UK for study
On a practical level, we are mostly settled. But we have found the social restrictions since we arrived to be difficult. On top of the varying levels of isolation since March, it has taken a toll on us. We began our time in the UK with 14 days compulsory quarantine and are ending 2020 in self-isolation again. The wider situation appears as if it will get worse before it gets better. We really miss being in community, in person, in relationship with others, and meeting together around meals and in homes. Pray that we will endure it gracefully and encourage others rather than simply complain of what we can’t have.
